Who we are

Tradesmen's Edge Consulting is the trading name of Ben Zielinski, a sole trader, of 110 Charlton, Andover, SP10 4AH. Contact: info@tradesmensedge.co.uk. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect through the Leak Check

When you unlock your Leak Check result we collect your name, email address, business name (if you give it), how long your business has been trading, how many people work in it, your 10 ratings, and the score and recommendation they produce.

Why, and our lawful basis

We use it to contact you about your result and, if you want, to book a Discovery Call. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give with the tick box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. We won't add you to a marketing mailing list.

We only ask for what we need: your email so we can reach you, your name so we know who we're talking to, and your answers so we can prepare for a call. Business name is optional.

Where it's kept and for how long

Your details are stored in a Google Sheet in our Google Workspace account, and we receive an email notification of each new result. We keep them for [12 months] from your last contact with us, then delete them, unless you become a client.

Booking a Discovery Call

Discovery Call bookings are taken through Google Calendar appointment scheduling. The booking calendar only loads on our site when you choose to show it. When you book, Google processes the name, email address and booking details you provide, and may set cookies, in line with Google's privacy policy.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or share your data. Google (our email, spreadsheet and booking calendar provider) and Cloudflare (which runs the security check on the form) process data on our behalf.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@tradesmensedge.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

This site doesn't use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, so we don't show a cookie banner. The only cookies involved are strictly necessary: the Cloudflare security check on the Leak Check form may use one to tell people from bots. Fonts and images are served from this site, not third parties. The Google booking calendar is only loaded if you press "Show available times", and Google may then set its own cookies.

If we ever add analytics, we'll ask for your consent first and update this page.
